We worked with the construction specialists CIMC in the building of a new style modular-style container building for the University of Glasgow. The 589-bed modular student build is located Glasgow’s West End with ensuite bedrooms with on-site amenities including a slide, festival space, cinema, library, café and gym.
See Switches helped supply sockets, switches and powering solutions for all areas of the building.
The building provides a uniquely modern environment for students in Glasgow, completed to the highest standard and incorporating the latest sustainable materials and design.
It is built using the V System from CIMC which can currently be built up to eleven storeys high without needing modification. We provided USB Charging Sockets, Isolation and standard switches, shaver sockets and Ip44 downlights for each room.
